The Oregon Arts Commission enhances the quality of life for all Oregonians through the arts by stimulating creativity, leadership and economic vitality.

The commission provides leadership, funding and arts programs through its grants, special initiatives and services. The commission works to improve access to the arts all around the state.

The commission continues to function with the primary role of issuing project grants to private non-profit arts organizations. The commission also supports the Oregon Folklife Network.
