Regional Governments

In January 1984, the 14 regional governments in Oregon came together to form the Oregon Regional Councils Association (ORCA) to promote greater cooperation between all levels of government.
Formed under ORS 190, the councils are multi-jurisdictional and multi-purpose organizations. They are voluntary associations of local governments cooperating on issues and problems which cross city, county, and in some cases state boundaries. The association provides a forum for information exchange and discussion of current issues of concern. For more information contact the executive director of any organization listed below.
