The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is the central administrative agency of Oregon state government and home to Oregon’s Chief Operating Officer.
DAS supports state agencies by providing a strong and stable management infrastructure, including statewide performance measurements, and statewide personnel, financial, and information systems and services. DAS employs about 780 people with offices primarily in the Salem area.
DAS implements the policy and financial decisions made by the governor and the Oregon Legislature, manages and coordinates projects involving multiple state agencies, and serves as a catalyst for innovation and improvement across state government.
