Board of Chiropractic Examiners > Web site
The Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners (OBCE) was created in 1915 and is responsible for administering the
Chiropractic Practice Act, as well as establishing the rules and regulations governing chiropractic in Oregon. The seven-member board is comprised of five licensed chiropractors and two public members who are appointed by the governor for three-year terms.
The OBCE’s mission is to serve the public, regulate the practice of chiropractic, and promote quality, competent and ethical health care. The board’s programs include application, examination, continuing education, public information and investigation of complaints. If violations are found, the board issues disciplinary actions and/or rehabilitation plans to meet competency standards.
