Present Duties
The Addictions and Mental Health Division is responsible for delivering mental health and addiction services to adults and children. These services are delivered locally through community mental health programs and their contracted providers, as well as through state-operated psychiatric hospitals in Salem, Portland and Pendleton. The division is responsible for delivering addiction prevention and treatment services in the areas of alcohol, tobacco, drug addiction and problem gambling.
